ReplyDeleteI just keep on going with the flow every day. So I think this is not true. I think this because I just go with the flow I don't pay atenchon to that. I think this because every day is just another day in till some one makes up a day like Friday the 13th is just a made up day. Just like the ides of march is true but made up at the same time.
I do not agree with the article because just like Friday the 13th it is a superstition. It is only unlucky if you believe it is. I have been through March 15th and Friday the 13th and nothing bad has ever happened. (except for the occasional tripping. But let's face it everyone trips once in a while). Julius Caesar was killed on March 15 and because of that people think it is unlucky. He could have been killed on April 23 and people would be scared of that day. It is all in your head.

I agree with the author. I agree with the author because one desicion can lead to bad luck. I also agree with the "Ides of March" and "Friday the 13th" statement. It says, "But bad things happen everyday-we just notice more them more on days of heightened superstition, like the Ides of March and Friday the 13th."
ReplyDeleteI agree with that because things happen bad everyday and you think they happen because of the day. An example of this is the sinking of the Concordia on January Friday the 13th.

I do agree with the article. I think this because it is just superstition and bad things happen everyday. You can belive in any thing truley and it can happen.

I think that the article is wroung because I think that you make your own luck and people make there own unlucky stuff because bad things happen all the time and people don't care but just because bad things happen on the ides of march then they freak out.

ReplyDeleteI agree because when you think about something a lot you get worried and then it ruined your day. I know this because I have done this before.
I agree with the author because I know that most of the people I know are cautious on the days that have been labeled "some of the unluckiest days of the year" like on Friday the 13th because everybody tries not to walk under ladders and over cracks in the road.

ReplyDeleteI disagree with the author. Superstitions aren't real because one time on Friday the 13th, I walked under a ladder, spilled salt, and saw a black cat and didn't get hurt. Most bad things aren't related to actually superstitions because they are mostly made up. I believe in fate, though. Sometimes I think something happens for a reason to comfort myself. I don't think of myths and other superstitions. The ones that I don't believe in are like The Headless Horseman and other spooky stories. Usually, I only believe understandable things like being friends with certain people and other realistic things.
I think that people make the superstition. This is because it is not like you see a black cat and get cut.

More details! Back yourself up!
DeleteI don't agree with the author because youdon't see a black cat and then get assainated by getting stabed in the back with a knife
ReplyDeleteBrock Butkovsky
Brock, try to use more evidence from the article to support your opinion. You need to back yourself up!
DeleteI agree with the author because i believe in superstition. Like friday 13 and going under a latter i dont beleive but thing that happen on friday 13 i think can be bad. Also, number thirteen isn't even on elevators because its superstion which i beleive.
ReplyDeleteZach McCollum
Though I am not a supersticious person... you proved your point well. Nice job.
DeleteI agree with this author. I think this because it is true that people think that superstitions happen on Friday the 13. However, many bad things don't happen because of this day, but what a person does. If a person makes a bad decision, something bad will happen. Also, I agree that people notice superstitions on days like Friday the 13.

I do agree with the author. I think that The Ides of March is a dumb superstition that somemone created just because the great leader Julius Caesar was assassinated on that day. Very often people create superstitions that make absolutely NO SENSE. This includes things like Friday the 13th, black cats, mirrors, stepping on cracks, and many other ridiculous things.

I don't agree with the author. This is because, I am not superstiotious. If somebody dies everyday, it's also basiclly saying how everyday is unlucky. Even though he was a great leader, his death isn't that different than other peoples, tey all die!
ReplyDeleteGaby Hirsch
I meant I do agree.

I think this is a bunch of stupidity some one got really bored in their lame lives and decided to scare people saying their gonna blow up since my friend wad actually scared even though it was just the date when someone famous died, this is stupid because the date where kennedy was assassinated wasnt made into super stition. Also like KBROWN said ya dont get stabbed when you see a black cat
ReplyDeleteI don't agree with the author. This is because it is only superstition which makes people scared of this day and also Friday the 13th. It is only in people's heads.

ReplyDeleteI disagree with the author because i do not believe in superstition.I do not because one time i was at mt grandma and grandpas house and it was Friday the 13. I was playing with my grandmas black cats and nothing happened. I did not get a cut or get hurt at all. So i do not believe that it is true.
I agree with the author because i think March 15, is superstitious. Today is mostly about the assassination of Julius Caesar. Walking under a ladder and seeing a black cat can sometimes occur for people on March 15, but that still doesn't mean that bad things will happen to you. It's intriguing people to learn more about this topic, but also learn that lots of these facts and quotes are just superstitious
ReplyDeleteLexie Gomez
I disagree with the author because the death of Julius Ceasar was like any other death except this death was more violent. No bad things have happened to anybody I have seen all this day.
